Molly LeGrand

Molly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and full-time school social worker. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri and earned her master’s degree in Social Work with a school specialization at Aurora University.

As an experienced school social worker, Molly has the expertise to work with adolescents who have anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, school avoidance and refusal, self-esteem issues, and emotional control difficulties. Molly also has experience in the coordination of care between the school and behavioral health program teams in her role as hospital liaison.

Molly uses CBT and DBT- based (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) techniques with her clients. Molly implements trauma-informed communication practices and approaches clients and their families from a strengths-based perspective. Molly’s approach is validating and seeks to meet her clients where they are. Molly offers her clients voice and choice in the treatment process, and empowers them to live authentically through life’s triumphs and challenges.
