Her goal is to help every client build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills.

Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bradley University. She later completed a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families at the University of Southern California. This training allows her to provide personalized mental health care that meets each family’s unique needs.

Bilingual Counseling in English and Spanish

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Kimberly provides culturally responsive therapy for diverse families. Clients are welcomed into a supportive environment where they feel heard, respected, and understood.

She works with adolescents ages 10 and older through individual therapy and family counseling. Common concerns include anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, family conflict, school-related issues, and major life transitions.

Evidence-Based Child and Adolescent Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of Kimberly’s primary treatment approaches. This evidence-based method helps children and teens identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier behaviors, and strengthen practical coping skills.

A strengths-based, collaborative style guides every session. Together, Kimberly and her clients build self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and increase confidence. Therapy also focuses on communication, healthy relationships, and problem-solving skills that support success at home, in school, and in the community.

Every child and adolescent has unique strengths. Kimberly partners closely with families to encourage meaningful growth and lasting positive change.

Beyond the Therapy Office

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her cat, Canela. She also stays active through regular exercise and enjoys learning new hobbies, including golf. Her commitment to wellness and lifelong learning reflects the balanced, encouraging approach she brings to every client and family she serves.
