Samantha Heiden

Sam Heiden M.S.W. is a licensed social worker (LSW). She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Aurora University. She has experience facilitating individual and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has worked extensively with clients experiencing mental health crises. Her expertise includes working with preteens and adolescents ages twelve and up who are struggling with various challenges including depression, anxiety, self-harm, negative self-talk, suicidal thoughts, and familial stressors. She addresses client needs through various treatment modalities such as Solution Focused Treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Sam is dedicated to creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable fully expressing their emotions and collaborating to address them appropriately. Sam provides a judgement free and safe environment for those from all backgrounds. In her free time Sam enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her three cats (Swatch, Sprout, & Hoppes).
